1. What we collect
- • Account data — email address, optional name, and a password hash (Argon2id).
- • Link data — aliases, destination URLs, titles, and the settings you configure.
- • Click analytics — referrer URL, user agent (parsed to browser and device category), a salted hash of the IP address, and a timestamp. Raw IP addresses are not stored.
- • Security logs — login attempt counts and hashed IPs for abuse protection.
2. How we use it
We use this data to operate the Service: to create and manage your links, to power the analytics you see in your dashboard, and to protect against abuse. We do not sell personal data and we do not run third-party advertising on the platform.
3. Cookies and sessions
We use a single session cookie (httpOnly, SameSite=Lax) to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies from third parties are used.
4. Sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties except where required by law or to operate the Service (e.g., our hosting infrastructure).
5. Retention and deletion
Link data and its analytics are retained while your account exists. You can delete individual links at any time; deleting an account removes the associated data. Contact us for deletion requests.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact hello@4u.fyi to exercise them.
